Avanza Education: Colorado CNA Classes

Avanza Education offers continuing education classes for healthcare providers. 8 years teaching the CNA class. Skills video provided to each student free. Everyone is welcome (This is NOT an online or by mail class).

Saturday from 9 A.M to 5 P.M and Tuesday & Wednesdays from 6:00 to 9:30 for 5 weeks. Our class also gives you CPR and First Aid certification (good for 2 years). And a geriatric care certification. No other C.N.A course includes these certifications. (The CPR and First Aid you will need to work. If you already have either class we will take $10 of your tuition per class)

Classes and Books - $585.00 total, with $300.00 due the first day of class. Payments are accepted after the first payment.

CPR CLASS:

American Heart Healthcare provider CPR 2 year certification. We can schedule you when you need it, just give a call. The cost is $38.00.

HeartSaver first aid, American Heart 2 year certification. We can also schedule this class when you need it, just give us a call.

Cost is $38.00 (If you take both CPR and First Aid class the cost is $60) This class is for those NOT in our C.N.A. class.

Geriatric care specialist, advanced skills:

 Some topics covered: Anatomy, disorders, incontinence, pressure ulcers, skin care, dementia, psychosocial needs, needs, and more. There is a hands on clinicals in: Lung sounds, bowel sounds, assess for blood clots, fall assessment, and more.

Two 1/2 Day class cost: $147.00 and includes the book.
