Avanza Education offers continuing education classes for healthcare providers. We have been teaching the CNA class for 10 years. Be sure to ask the instructor how long they have been teaching, not how long they have been in business. We provide a skills video  to each student free (a $50 value). No other CNA course has the skills video for their students. This video helps students to pass the state test. Everyone is welcome (This is NOT an online or by mail class).

We are a test site for the CNA state licensing test. That means that you can take your state test in the same place you have taken your classes. This is a big advantage when it comes to taking the skills part of the state test. You will be familiar with the skills room and feel more relaxed taking the test in the same room where you have been practising your skills.

 

CLASS INFORMATION AND SCHEDULES

The C.N.A. classes are Saturday from 9 A.M to 5 P.M and Tuesday & Wednesdays from 6:00pm to 9:30pm for 5 weeks. Our class also gives you CPR and First Aid certification (good for 2 years) and advanced skills. No other C.N.A course includes the skills video  and advanced skills training. (The CPR and First Aid you will need to work. If you already have either class we will take $10 of your tuition per class)We can work around any upcoming holidays or breaks, just give us a call.

**You do not need a Social Security number to take the CNA class. You DO need a Social Security number to take the state licensing test to receive your CNA state license. **

You DO NOT need a background check to take the CNA class. The Colorado Board of Nursing will do a background check at no charge to you before they issue you your state license.

You must have a TB test before the class ends. Call 578-3199 to schedule the test. Cost $15

 

 Class and Textbook - $585.00 total, with $350.00 due the first day of class. Payments are accepted after the first payment. We also  take Visa or MasterCard

CPR CLASS:

American Heart Healthcare provider CPR 2 year certification. Wed. 12:30pm. The cost is $38.00 (CASH ONLY or FACILITY CHECK, NO personal checks, no exception)

HeartSaver First Aid, American Heart 2 year certification. The last Tues. of each month at 2:00pm
